Empower Your Apps with Smart Report Maker: Dashboards, Reports, and More

We are excited to introduce Smart Report Maker (SRM) as one of our partner products!

TL;DR: Smart Report Maker (SRM) is a powerful reporting tool that allows you to create dynamic dashboards, reports, and charts from your MySQL database. It’s easy to use, requires no coding, and is perfect for AppGini users. Plus, you can enjoy an exclusive 40% discount when you purchase SRM through the link provided in this post.

Note: Smart Report Maker (SRM) is developed and provided by a third-party vendor (SoftGalaxy), not by BigProf Software. While we recommend SRM as a compatible reporting solution for AppGini users, support and licensing are handled directly by the SRM team.

Smart Report Maker

SRM allows creating dashboards, reports, charts, drill-down charts, KPIs, and scheduled reports—all from an existing MySQL database.

Whether you’re working on an AppGini-generated application or any other MySQL-based project, SRM seamlessly connects to your database and empowers business teams to answer their own data questions—without writing a single line of code.

👉 Designed for ease of use, SRM requires no learning curve and can be installed very easily, even on shared hosting providers. Just like AppGini, SRM works on any hosting platform that supports PHP.

Installing and Configuring SRM for AppGini Apps

You don’t need to install SRM on your local server before setting it up on your online server — the online installation can be done directly. That said, if you prefer to install it on both, you’re free to do so, but installing locally first is not a requirement.

When installing SRM online, you’ll find several installation methods available. Simply choose the one that suits you best and follow the steps. For more details about installing SRM, refer to the official documentation.

Once SRM is installed, head to the Data Connections screen to define the connections to your AppGini databases (see the documentation: Data Connections).

To keep things organized, you can assign each connection a descriptive name, such as appgini_salesApp or appgini_CRM, based on the application it belongs to. This makes it easy to identify them as AppGini databases.

After setting up your connections, SRM enables you to generate dashboards, pivot tables, reports, charts, and KPIs from these databases—giving you a single place to analyze all your AppGini applications.

Coming soon: We’re working on a new feature that will let you embed dashboards and pivot tables directly as pages within your AppGini apps. This option is still under development and will be available in a future update.

As an exclusive offer for AppGini users, you can enjoy a 40% discount when purchasing Smart Report Maker via this link (USD $79.99 instead of $135.00).
